Why do I have to register to use Yuka?

Benoit Updated by Benoit

Registering is necessary for securing user contributions. Yuka is a collaborative application where everyone can contribute. It's therefore important that we have the ability secure these contributions via the creation of an account. This system allows us to block users who provide erroneous information and, conversely, to grant more rights to users who contribute to the addition of quality information.

The registration also allows us to link scanning history to an account.
