Why are all chocolate bars poorly rated?

Ophélia Bierschwale Updated by Ophélia Bierschwale

All chocolate is rated as "poor" or "bad" since the rating takes macronutrients into account (such as calories, fat, sugar, etc.) but not micronutrients (such as vitamins, antioxidents, etc.).

This does not mean that chocolate should be avoided completely, because it can have many benefits.

Why is cheese often poorly rated on Yuka?

Does the application take allergens (such as gluten, lactose, etc.) into account?
